A Muse Moment
Our language has wisely sensed these two sides of man's being alone.

It has created the word 'loneliness' to express the pain of being alone.
And it has created the word 'solitude' to express the glory of being alone.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of life in a city, we would like to provide a space for you to read, to sit in quiet solitude or gather with loved ones, to revel in beautiful music, to connect to yourself or others over fresh coffee, quality tea, simple wholesome food and sumptuous cakes and pastries.

We believe the flavours of nature are enough, subtle yet complex. Hence, all our beverages have been carefully chosen and designed to taste good with natural ingredients and not include the use of artificial flavourings or additives. Simple and real, they are nourishing and can be consumed everyday without becoming a burden for our bodies.

Let us take time to consciously slow down, to pause, to get out of our heads and smell our coffee, to really taste our food, to look and see the beauty all around, to hear the birds chatter and listen to the unspoken, to feel the air on our skin and the energy pull of our emotions, to become aware of all that our five senses take in, as well as that beyond what they can detect, which we nonetheless sense and know to be true.

Be fully present. Be present with love.
Here and now is all we will ever have.

May you listen to the voice within the beat even when you are tired.
When you feel yourself breaking down, may you break open instead.

May every experience in life be a door that opens your heart, expands your understanding, and leads you to freedom.

If you are weary, may you be aroused by passion and purpose.
If you are blameful and bitter, may you be sweetened by hope and humour.
If you are frightened, may you be emboldened by a big consciousness far wiser than your fear.

If you are lonely, may you find love, may you find friendship.
If you are lost, may you understand that we are all lost, and still we are guided - by Strange Angels and Sleeping Giants, by our better and kinder natures, by the vibrant voice within the beat.

May you follow that voice, for this is the way -

the hero's journey,
the life worth living,
the reason we are here.
